Some pictures from the exhibition opening.
Tomorrow (or better today, on Sunday) I’m flying back to Slovenia and in the evening I have a photoshoot already, so I doubt that I recon it’s better to upload images right now.

Exhibition opening was a GREAT!
Ciao! I’ll be very short since I need to make a good use of my time in Lodon. Exhibition of Striptiz portraits opening was great! lot of people turned up, pictures looked good and reactions were very positive. I had even a short interview for British Journal of Photography. I’m not sure if it’ll be published, but a journalist loved my work. Fingers crossed… I met a person from The British Press Photographers Association and show here my Flower Power project and she loved it and said she will get me into British parliament so I could take a Flower Power project with Gordon Brown. It inspired me so much that I’ll start visiting press conferences in London, Brussels, Moscaw, Rome,…
Far out with Flower Power!

The biggest surrprise was when I checked a magazine Proffessional Photographer, that I’ve picked up from Leonie’s desk. Inside there was an add for Month of Phoography and my exhibtion was among the highlights of the Month of Photography in London. Along with Magnum photographers, lectures by Martin Parr, etc… You know who is exhibiting after my show? Chris Steele Perkins! Only now I realize how HOT Host gallery is. Leonie told me “You don’t know how many photographers want’s to exhibit in that gallery.” I guess it was good I didn’t know that.
Small step for a Slovenian photography, a giant leap for a photographer.
Striptease portraits the exhibition will be opened in two hours!
Exhibition of pictures published in Mladina weekly, under Stripteaze rubric will be opened in just few hours. It looks splendid! HOST gallery, Honduras st. 1, near OLD STREET and Barbican Tube station.
Hurry up!

You are invited to the Private View
Please join us on Wednesday 24 October, 2007 from 6.30pm
to launch the exhibition Emerging Slovenia, photographs by Borut Peterlin
Please confirm your attendence to this event by emailing rsvp@hostgallery.co.uk
Slovenian photographer Borut Peterlin presents his series of portraits, commissioned by Mladina magazine, for their weekly section portraying creative figures working in Slovenia. Peterlin’s portraits attempt to completely “strip” his sitters of their public relations image, seeking a conceptual factor that will allow the image to stand out. As Slovenia takes over the presidency of European Union this year, this show will be a unique look at the true artists of Slovenian society.
This exhibition runs from 25 October – 03 November 2007.
