Striptiz portraits of painters Katja Pal and Eva

without comments

_mg_1704_borut_peterlin.jpgCommissioned by Mladina for their Striptiz rubric I portraited painters Katja Pal and Eva. Again I was under horrible time pressure shooting Vesna Černivec at 11am, running to editorial for few hours of picture editing and then running for next photoshoot. I guess I’m destined to work under pressure. I’m not complaining. So when I saw their illustrations I thought to do a two dimensional picture and they would be involved in the picture. Eva draw a sketch what they want to draw and I liked it very much. Light was perfect and TV crew of national TV RTV SLO came to record the shooting for ARS 360 that will be emitted on Sunday at about 23 hours.

Striptiz portraits of photographer Vesna Černivec

Vesna ČernivecFor my Striptiz rubric in Mladina weekly I photographed Vesna Černivec. She is a photographer that had an exhibition of bread bakers in Azerbaidjan. My idea was to bake a bread in a form of a camera. _mg_1458_borut_peterlin.jpgWith a help of my lovely wife ;-) of course. Unfortunately inspite the effort bread looks more like a mushroom then as a camera. I did my best, but it didn’t work out quite as I planned. I photographed her in front of Ethnographic Museum, where her exhibition took place.

Take my quiz from histroy of photography – on Facebook

without comments

I tested a quiz option on Facebook and I made it around history of photography, specifically about the pictures I was inspired by. It’s a hard test, but all this answers I needed to know from my BA degree at FAMU college. I was even asked when Rodchenko bought his first camera. I answered correctly at the time, but I’m not so sure if it was in 1924.

GIVE IT A GO!
