Test of lenses Canon 24mm f/1,4; Sigma 24mm f/1,8; Canon 28mm f/1,8; Canon 20mm f/2,8
I’ve invested whole lot of money into a new lens Canon 24mm f/1,4. Have you read any of lens tests and it sounds very wise, but basically you know nothing until you make a test for yourself. So HERE IS AN EXCELENT TEST and I’ll publish only pictures and you make a judgment. I did a test with Canon 5D set on neutral picture style, so no sharpening or saturation happen on this images.

What do you think? 24 f/1,4 is much more expensive then Sigma and it is the best lens I ever had, but it’s much more expensive then Sigma 24mm f/1,8 or Canon 28mm f/1,8. My favorite lens used to be Canon 28mm f/1,8 and I bought it in 1999 and it worked fine until this year. This lens don’t like asphalt I can tell you that!
I’ll do more test comparing zoom lens with fixed focal length lenses. Expect slaughter!
