Adolf Hitler survived?!?
Here is the cover page of tomorrow’s issue of Global monthly in which we gather most interesting articles from newspapers around the world. In this issue we’ve focused on Germany and Russia. I’m really happy with the cover, a photomontage by Polish photographer Andrjez Dragan (Check his site). Picture supplied by profimedia.cz, Ferrari
PS:
BagFoot exists!!!
BagFoot is a monster designed by Luka Mancini and is a part of action to raise an awareness of over usage of plastic bags and plastic cups. I portrayed him in a Mercator mall in downtown Ljubljana and illuminated him with a straight studio flash from behind and a softbox from front.
PS: On published picture I did retouched that electric cable, but the file is in my office.

Janez Pipan, a theater director that directed a theater performance Persona, drama of Ingmar Bergman (famous film director).
This is my today’s portrait in my epic project of creative portraiture for Striptiz rubric of Mladina weekly. For this portrait I took a different approach, highly influenced by Erica Iris Simmons @Behance.net.

A Gorjanci Fairy-Tale
A picture of a virgin forest (Krakovski pragozd) at night illuminated by detached flash lights SB900 and SB800 with gelatin filter. Exposure was about 7 min, ISO 1100, f/4. I walked in large circle around the camera, illuminating the forest above. The picture is a part of a project A Gorjanci Fairy-tale. More about it on borutpeterlin.com Fairytales. I’ll exhibit old pics with few new pieces and this one I’ve made few hours ago. The exhibition opening will be in KC Janez Trdina, Novo mesto, 24th of November 2010 at 17.00.
Single pictures from single moments
When I started with photography I was, like everyone, photographing everything that caught my eye. From nature, portraits, car, girls, parties, buildings, flowers, animals, younameit,… Then I become a professional and I was photographing on assignments, projects, themes, clients, younameit,… and a decade later I realized that most of spontaneity and excitement is gone. I’m overflooded by commercial and professional assignments, so in my free time I don’t think on photography any more. And that used to be my main, most fun, most exciting, most inspirational occupation. I remember I couldn’t sleep at night because I was to impatient to wait for a dawn. Now I’m all stressed out from photography.
But this is normal. To be sure your lens is in focus, you need to go over the best focused point into unsharpness and then move focus back a little. I’m happy I crossed the point when my talent was in maximum focus and now I’m in unsharp area. Time to readjust my settings
Here are few single pictures from single moments, without any great concept to save the world or to sell it to someone. This pictures are just for fun.
