Wet wetplate photographer at B-day party
Birthday party of Boštjan Pucelj at Klevevž thermal spring, near Šmarješke Toplice, Slovenia. Wet Plate Photography at -3C without heat source. I prolonged sensitization from 3 to 5 minutes and I developed without sugar and added one drop of nitric acid for clearer blacks and silverish neutral whites. Developing time was 40 seconds.

Very chic in a natural environment. Borut, you should have jumped in, that would have been a splash ending:-)

Awesome work!!! Thanks a lot for the video, it made the whole process understandable.

John, plates were bathing in that water. Final wash was with water from the stream. You’ve might notice it, it’s not that obvious. THX for comments everybody!

Marie, we do this often. It’s luxurious to be Podgurc (red neck)!
