Saturday’s events in Ambrus conserning Strojan Roma family

with 16 comments

On_Saturday president Drnovšek tried to bring two trailers to Strojan family, but Local people from Ambrus and Dečja vas made a barricade and even president Drnovšek was helpless. On the end Drnovšek left with words that their Christianity is only in their words and not at all in their actions. The record of this really shamefull event you can find it on RTV SLO 23.12.2006 on the news Dnevnik. Click on RTV SLO, then avdio/video, then arhiv, then Dnevnik and then find Dnevnik 23.12.2006.

Saturday was planned also to celebrate Strojan’s family reunion and host relatives who visited them. After locals from Ambrus made a barricade for president’s trailers also Mirko and Miha Strojan with his family could not reach their home in Ambrus.

While I was waiting I was playing journalists with Strojan’s children. Miranda Strojan age 6 years was a journalist and played the role incredible as she is really bright. When Elvis age 9 years answered that when he’ll grow up he’ll buy bulldozer and he’ll torn down all houses in Ambrus, she started to convince him that that’s not right. Here is an MP3 recording (size 4,2 MB) of the interview. We had really jolly time! Please do laugh at my silly questions, but asking silly question relaxes the person and it makes it easier to talk.

Today on Sunday, Strojan family moved to a new location on the suburb of Ljubljana. I hope this is the end of agony of this family. Personally the whole story helps me understand the human nature and in this christmas time sheds a new understanding of the Bible.

  1. Borut, you spell Saturday, not Sathurday. 😉

What new understanding of the Bible? Bible is a mixture of 66 different and most of the time contradictory books and 31 out of them have no moral value whatsoever.

  2. Cheers for the spelling thing. Actually I don’t know why I’m keep on doing that mistake.

I do agree with you that Bible is very contradictory book. As you’ve wrote it’s a collection of books that was written by a human beings in certain time with certain understanding of the message and with certain capabilities to convey their understanding of the message further on. What a great formula for a confusion…

You should ask yourself what does not have any contraditions? Phyisics is full of contraditions as well isn’t? I guess the most obvious is a contradition how light can have properties of wave (electomagnetic) and particles (photons) at the same time? Much of new understanding of the world through quantum mechanics is a contradiction of another contradiction.

Well, it beats me why the world is made with so many contraditions. I guess it’s like Universe (Life, God, pure chance…) is trying to tell us we’re old enough to decide for ourselfes.

And if it’s so, you right, but so am I 🙂

PS: Conserning the topic I’ve wrote lenglty post:

  3. Well problem is that Bible is supposed to be the word of (perfect, loving, almighty) God and supposed to be inerrant. On the other side, no scientist would ever claim the scientific theories are inerrant. They are just best attempt to describe what we see in the nature.

It is rather obvious from reading the Bible that it is work of fiction.

  4. This is such a SHAME that I am left dumb-struck……
Thanks for keeping us all informed about the happenings of this “black hole” of Slovenija that is called Ambrus.
What can one do but feel devastated of what Slovenija has turned into.

  5. Peter I agree with you, but it’s like with Bush’s regime. The fiercest and largest opposition against Bush is not in Iran or in EU, but in USA!

Thank YOU for your attention to the matter!
