fotopub-2007-predplakat-predogled.jpgLadies and gentleman! I present you a poster for Fotopub 2007! The image was shot by Chris de Bode for his project of bicycle competitions in exotic countries like Senegal, China, Latin America, etc. He made such a fantastic pictures that’s jut beyond the explanation. You could read something about him at Guardian or at Panos pictures. I choosed this picture for a leading picture of Fotopub festival because it represent our new direction of our work. We can not compete with festivals like Perpignan, Arles,.. in budget or quality sense but we can make a small and extremely fun festival of documentary photography. And while we will working on it we want to have fun just as well!
In the afternoon we had a crit session for this year masterclass with Paul Lowe and some really nice work was displayed.
_mg_9561_borut_peterlin.jpg_mg_9540_borut_peterlin.jpg During our lunch Paul gave fantastic idea. Since Chris will exhibit bike races and that’s our leading picture, why don’t we organize a bicycle race as a part of the opening event! In our town we have the best cycling club and we’ll organize the race and who’ll come as the first in the gallery he’ll won an original print of Chris de Bode. The race will be called Tour de Bode.
