This week I’ve done a portraits of Gregor Virant, Minister of Public Administration for an interview for Mladina weekly. Just before the interview I had a meeting with my colleagues photographers announcing that we would like to start a bit different policy toward photographing portraits for a large interview in the magazine. Trend in last few years is to have a picture of big head of an interviewer spread across a page and a half and I really don’t like that at all, but some people do, so I didn’t poke. I find it much better that an introductory (large) picture is staged in a context of a persons job and inside the interview two portraits taken while being interviewed. In this issue I quite like it the way it turned out.
