How does it look like under your computer desk?

with 6 comments

cables under computer deskI’m preparing for my talk at Fotopub festival and for the fourth time I listen Jeff Bezos at Ted.com. In his lecture he shows a picture under his computer desk as an example how technologically primitive Internet era is. I got this fantastic idea. Let’s make a bloggers project and share pictures under our computer desk! If we’ll collect many pictures, it will be hilarious! Upload them to Flicker and use a tag UNDERDESK!

Well,… maybe it was not such a fantastic idea.
    Although…
if I would called it Art…
And photographed under the desks of famous people…
    And make really big prints…
    Or make really unsharp pictures…

It would still be a bullshit, but if I would maintain serious face, critics would consider it art.

Maybe it’s very late and I need a sleep.

  2. Hello!
    I think it’s a great idea…
    I’ve uploaded 3 pictures on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10203027@N03/

Is this your lecture or opening ceremony at Fotopub made public, or it’s just for participiants?

  3. Probably you just need to set a VERY high price for each of the prints, and it’s called “modern art” by default, hehe.
I have pics, but no flickr acc, so maybe someday, when (if!) I register, I will put ’em on. Maybe. Like the idea, tho.
