New E-book: The Zen Habits Handbook for Life! I like Zenhabits blog and I bought his E-book for just 7$.

Shaolin Kung Fu site is on
. I did all sorts of sport but this Shaolin Kung Fu is the most complete exercise by far! We do a lot of exercise for speed, strength, balance, streaching, martial technique, but also a lot of Chi Gong exercise with meditation. Great training for physical and mental strength.

My Londoner friends said I need to see this and since my last post was about portraiting president,… lets see how Annie is doing. She asked the Queen to be photographed on a horse in a state apartment! And asked qween to take her crown off! ha, ha, ha…. That fits my Striptiz concept!

PS: Adobe invented new lens and new concept of photography!

  1. Interesting links as always. The bit about Annie Lebowitz’ portrait of the Queen is awsome, as are the resulting photographs.

And yes, it does remind me of your Striptiz photos 🙂

  2. Once I wrote I boost my self confidence by fictively imagine that I work in the best possible environment in the world. In that fictive world Annie Leibovitz is my assistant 🙂

And guess what… It works. Annie is great assistant!

  3. Well, hope we will one day have same working conditions, or at least similar. If not us than generations after us for sure. We need to strugle for this. That hiring such a big crew would be understandable for persons placing an order for the job -only for photography, not film crew and paralell to that we gonna make some good shots…. That budget for photographing will increase for a better result. Not as now when is budget many times “necessary evil”. As well “only” for the magazines and newspapers. My experiences are allways like: we gonna pay less, just for him and he will do good enough – or put people to help, that don’t know their job very well… I do many times portraits of musicians like this by myself only. With a lot of compromises…

  6. instead of horse, the queen might have allowed at least chickens in her fine palace… considering she’s the biggest peasant woman in whole EU. 😉

  7. ha, ha, ha… That’s true.

The best is her expression when she looks at Annie, try to laugh, then to her stylist – sort of …. do something!
