Bachelor party of Dejko

with 5 comments

My childhood friend Dejko had a party before his wedding day. In Slovenia we have a habit that we set up a whole pine tree called mlaj.
Now days more often only two smaller pine trees are set up at the entrance of groom’s property. Guys chop trees and set them up whereas girls decorate them. Of course it’s very loud party. Few pictures without comments.

  1. The memories of your bachelor party came back and I must admit I have a lovely memory of that. Wonderful tool that is photography brings the visual diaries to life.

  2. Yes, you came all the way from New York to Novo mesto (New town in translation) and it was jolly indeed! I’m wondering if you’ll give me a chance to return the favor to you.

  3. zadnja je tipično “naša”. Samo še roka manjka, pa bi bil Superman v akciji. Viva la gruzdje.

  4. It is always comforting to know that heavy drinking is involved with working with dangerous machinery and tools.

    Anyway, good luck Dejko!

  5. I am working towards that Mr. Peterlin but give me some time to get sorted out. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to get your family to where ever this event could take place. The picture of Pero is a carbon copy of how he was at your party, and every party for that matter. Good to know that quality doesn’t change much! Now I hope that the package comes to you soon. I would be very dissapointed if Luchka did not get this gift that has flown over the atlantic.
