Photoshelter & TinEye – just married

Tineye is a search engine in reverse. You can search the web for your images and determine how they’re being used on-line. Tineye is not a new service, but now they’ve indexed more then 1 billion on-line images, so now it’s actually practicable. Photoshelter and TinEye just begun their partnership and TinEye will begin index PhotoShelter-hosted images that are marked as “publicly searchable” and search results will show any other online usage.

I tried them out and I typed THIS URL of one Ambrus image from my flickr account and it did found two sites using my picture. One was Mladina (of course) and second one was, that I have no clue who they are or what they do. HERE is the search result. And there is also a very practical add-on available.
