Our main man JeanChristophe Couet is back in town and he’s having a lecture tonight and tomorrow. Tonight (9.12.2010) he will have a lecture at VIST college, Vodnikova 126, Ljubljana and tomorrow he’s having a lecture at Fotoklub Kranj, Openlab, Koroška cesta 19, Kranj, Slovenia. Both events starts at 20:08. Events are open for public, although for Friday’s event in Kranj, you should send an email to foto@ksk.si.

Picture above is taken at his lecture at Famul Stewart school.

“My lectures will be based on contemporary use for photography, its relationship with new media and exploring growing venues in documentary. My lectures will aim to demonstrate that virtual and physical space play an important role in discovering documentary photography. It is less about information for information’s sake but rather to share the direct experience and process with the public.”
JC.
His site is http://www.jeanchristophe.org/. Turn off the volume before clicking the link. His “unique” sense of humor might be too much for a first impression.
