Panorama head in my mind (manfrotto 303 plus)

with 10 comments

Ciao tutti,
yesterday I’ve bought a panoramic head Manfrotto 303 plus for my tripod and done few good images already! I hope you’ll like the video, and leave a comment if you prefer a videolog or typed weblog on photography. Or if you rate high or low, I’ll get the idea.

  1. Odlična zadeva, ta foto glava. Jaz zaenkrat uporablja kar navadno glavo in včasih rata, drugič ne.

  2. Ha… good stuff. A free 8 min panorama workshop. Always thought panorama heads are just stupid commercial shit made by sinking companies, but… A bit bulky, but saves a day a lot!!!
    Like the videolog and I’m sure JC will like i too and looking forward to his crisp comments (specially ’bout your musical capability) 🙂
    All the best to B family!!!

    rata takrat, ko je paralaksa zanemarljiva, ko je najbljižji objekt oddaljeno oddaljen, če pa se lotiš bližnjih objektov, kot so bile trte, pa nesrečno pogoriš.

    I also thought WTF when I saw it, but then I was thinking about a new project, then I was thinking how to do it differently, then I took Milan’s course, he is editor at Refoto, you know, and then I wasn’t thinking anymore, I knew this is it! This afternoon I was cycling with that heavy duty tripod D3 and that 303plus head. The whole cycling wasn’t that fun, but I took some really great images. It’s so nice to change the pace of work. I’m usually constantly running to catch a deadline, constantly on a road, but now I’m spending hours to take dozen images, waiting for sun to lower down, waiting for clouds to move, etc… I’m so tranquil.
    🙂

  5. Lepo. Zanimiv video in dober trik tole s paralakso. Me pa zanima zakaj aparata ne postaviš pokonci, da bi pridobil še večjo ločljivost…

  6. @Matjazz,
    to tudi mene skrbi. Računam da moje nastopaštvo prevlada 🙂

    @Luka
    Sedajle sem čist zares naštudiral glavo, sem bil par ur zunaj, in mi je jasno, da je dejansko privzet način fotografiranja, da fotoaparat vertikalno in ne ležeče nastavljen. Ker če je ležeče, potem lahko slikaš le pod 90 stopinj glede na nivo stojala. Jaz sem kupil še monopod glavico, a je neuporabna. Sprva sem fotografiral horizontalno, ker na delavnici nismo imeli tako dobre panoramske glavve 🙂 pa tudi kmetovalca, ki sta mi pozirala, ne bi mogel v en pokočni kader stlačiti. Ampak imaš prav, od včerajšnjega popoldneva slikam vertikalno. Đizs kako veliki fajli, vsak okoli 1GB! Sicer v layarjih, a vseeno.

  7. First of all…thank you leopardman for your continued trust in my comments. Each comment geared at Borut takes time, dedication and love.

    I enjoyed this blog because I like enjoying borut wearing a baseball cap. I also like that blogging hurts his fingers. it’s true, typing is a contact sport. it takes time, passion and lots of training in shaolin temples.

    seriously…it was cool and i’m hoping to come to slovenia soon enough where borut and i can post live comments via video blog on the fotopub festival.

  8. That is a good idea, to mock everybody and everything and broadcast it live via this blog!
