New plates from A New Earth wet plate collodion project

leave a comment »

Dear viewers, here is the new work for my project A New Earth. Inspired by the work of Ana Mendieta and the philosophy of Eckhart Tolle and Alan Watts, I’m camping in the forest for several days and I’m performing a ritual called wet plate collodion photography, glass plates, format 40x50cm or 16×20″.

Thank you for your attention, may the Topshit be with you!

I was a guest at The United Art Gallery

with one comment

Dear readers, followers and supporters,
Markus Hofstätter is a fellow wet plate photographer from Vienna and he runs a project The United Art Gallery, promoting wet plate photographers and their work. I was a guest on his podcast Behind The United Art Gallery.

I enjoyed the conversation very much and I’m very impressed how well the final result came out. I hope you’ll enjoy it too.
Thank you Markus!

Wet Plate Collodion project, A New Earth, Vlog #89

with one comment

.
In this vlog I’m sharing with you the process of creation of the fourth plate in my project A New Earth. The project is a post-apocalyptic New Deal with mother nature. The project A New Earth is inspired with the work of Ana Mendieta, Eckhart Tolle and of course Alan Watts. The next vlog will be about the making of albumen and carbon prints from these negatives.
This vlog is supported by 132 patreons and I could not be able to do this without their support. In each vlog, I draw one lucky patreon and send him or her additional gift. This time is Katie Brittie from Dallas, Texas, USA.

New work from “Feels Like Home” project

leave a comment »

Dear followers,
As you will notice, this video took me very long time to complete. Except the outro footage in the atelier, I’ve made it already a week ago, but it took me quite a while to finish it. Well, it’s here and I’m very satisfied with it. Video is a new medium for me and I am glad to receive a feedback from close friends, who have seen it unfinished, that they felt the peace that is the topic of my photography. I hope you will too. Leave a comment and subscribe to my YouTube channel, my FB page, my Instagram and this blog, of course!
