I’m so happy that I finally got space for my atelier! I am overwhelmed. You will see, this is just my first week working in it. I can feel this is the milestone in my career. I’m planning to have workshops there, to have a library with photo-books, to do reviews of photo books and publish it daily and of course have my space of peace.
Thank you for all the support!

Skuza me, but this video is pretty long, like 12 minutes, but I’ve been very productive the past month. I know, I should make three vlogs, but I just haven’t found time. Anyway, here is the new vlog and some images that I’ve listed on eBay. Tomorrow very early morning I’m driving to Italian Gorizia, where I teach at University, hand made photography, of course, so this post will be super short. Short post and long video. Don’t forget to press like, subscribe and of course bid!
Thanks to my 50 patrons who are supporting me every month through the PATREON platform!
In this vlog I’m just enjoying spontenitivity of photography. Many of our colleagues are just buying more and more cameras and at the same time taking less and less photographs. I am no exception, I am not pointing on anybody (especially not on Jean-Christophe Quet)
So I intend to shoot ten rolls, make a selection and bind it in a book. Because I can do that. I love photography, just for the sake of doing it and I hope the inspiration will come across this video. Thank you for all the attention!
In December I took a part of a workshop of Oil print process and it’s a photographic process that delivers a photograph that is a combination of photography and painting.
The oil print process is a photographic printmaking process that dates back to the mid 19th century. Oil prints are made on paper on which a thick gelatin layer has been sensitised to light using dichromate salts. After the paper is exposed to light through a negative, the gelatin emulsion is treated in such a way that highly exposed areas take up an oil-based paint, forming the photographic image.
The workshop was organised by Arezzo & Fotografia and conducted by Roberto Lavini. We enjoyed it very much and I will write more about the oil print process when I will master it. I’m planning to do a photographic project of reevaluating fairy tales and this process might be perfect.
Before the workshop I’ve visited Oliviero Toscani, the photographer who made UC of Benetton famous with his campaigns. I worked with Oliviero Toscani and Rocco Toscani in Fabrica, the research centre of communication by United Colors of Benetton in year 2000 and 2001. I enjoyed a lot the company of Oliviero and Rocco, but I haven’t recorded much since the visit was mostly of personal nature. But what I can say is that many ideas are brewed, when creative people are enjoying sun, lunch and wine. I’m coming back, for sure.
Sorry guys, it passed quite some time from my last posting. I have been busy, I had a workshop in Florence, I took part of a workshop in Arezzo on oil-print, visit my friend and mentor Olivero Toscani, I had a talk in Berlin’s university, I got a job offer in Hamburg, while making a living. On Monday during the terrorist attack in Berlin I was in the neighbourhood. So I thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope I will publish another video before the end of the year. I wish you merry Christmas!

In this episode of my vlog, I’ve started a collaboration with my daughters in my photography project A Father’s Tale. I’ve been talking before about my project, but now, when I am in the middle of divorce, I’m bonding with my kids in this kind of creative way.
The prints we’ve created are listed on Ebay, as an auction, so I thank you for bidding, liking and sharing my videos. I thank my patreons who are supporting me monthly via platform PATREON.com.
